1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to Dakota County; extending interest in lands occupied by Minnesota
1.3Zoo.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. INTEREST IN LANDS EXTENDED.
1.6Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, Dakota County's reversionary interests in
1.7lands deeded by Dakota County to the state of Minnesota, as contemplated by Laws
1.81975, chapter 382, are extended and remain permanently valid and operative. The land
1.9is currently maintained and used for the purpose of a state zoological garden in Apple
1.10Valley, Minnesota, and is described as Document No. 433980 and Document No. 439719,
1.11recorded in the Dakota County Property Records Office, excluding lands subject to the
1.12quit claim deeds recorded as Document No. 1246646 and Document No. 1330383.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon compliance by the Dakota
1.14County Board of Commissioners with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section
1.15645.021.
