1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. MUSKELLUNGE MINIMUM SIZE LIMIT; RULEMAKING.
1.6The commissioner of natural resources shall amend Minnesota Rules, part
1.76262.0200, to provide that the minimum size limit for muskellunge in all inland waters
1.8is 55 inches in length. The commissioner may use the good cause exemption under
1.9Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388, subdivision 1, clause (3), to adopt rules under this
1.10section, and Minnesota Statutes, section 14.386, does not apply, except as provided under
1.11Minnesota Statutes, section 14.388.
