1.3on U.S. Highway 10; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. ANOKA COUNTY; U.S. HIGHWAY 10.
1.6 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $10,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7fund to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to Anoka County to complete
1.8the final design, land acquisition, and construction of marked U.S. Highway 10 as a
1.9freeway, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 160.02, subdivision 19, from the
1.10intersection with Anoka County State-Aid Highway 83 (Armstrong Boulevard) in the city
1.11of Ramsey to the interchange with Round Lake Boulevard in the city of Coon Rapids.
1.12The commissioner may accept and expend funds from nonstate sources, including but not
1.13limited to local funds and federal aid, for purposes of this subdivision.
1.14 Subd. 2. Bond sale authorizations. To provide the money appropriated in this
1.15section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall
1.16sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $10,000,000 in the manner, upon the
1.17terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675,
1.18and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
