1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 144.413, subdivision 4, is amended to read:
1.7 Subd. 4. Smoking. "Smoking" means inhaling or exhalingsmoke a substance
1.8containing tobacco or nicotine from any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe, or
1.9any other lighted or heated tobacco or plant product, including an electronic cigarette.
1.10Smoking alsoincludes carrying a means possession of any lighted or heated cigar,
1.11cigarette, pipe, or any other lighted or heated tobacco or plant product intended for
1.12inhalation, including an electronic cigarette.
