SENATE BILL No. 811

     A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled

 

"The revised school code,"

 

by amending section 1811 (MCL 380.1811).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1811. A person not legally entitled to vote who votes or

 

attempts to vote at a school election or meeting is guilty of an

 

offense punishable under chapter 35 XXXV of Act No. 116 of the

 

Public Acts of 1954, as amended, being sections 168.931 to 168.947

 

of the Michigan Compiled Laws.the Michigan election law, MCL

 

168.931 to 168.945.

 

     [Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect December 31,

 

2018.                                ]

 

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless Senate Bill No. 809

 

          of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law.
