A bill to amend 1984 PA 431, entitled

"The management and budget act,"

by amending section 365 (MCL 18.1365), as amended by 2020 PA 122.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 365. (1) Beginning on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this sentence, both the senate appropriations committee and the house of representatives appropriations committee shall report general appropriation bills for the upcoming fiscal year not later than 90 days after the first day of regular session.

(2) Beginning July 1, 2021, the legislature shall pass and present general appropriation bills for the upcoming fiscal year to the governor on or before July 1.
