Summary

Proposing an amendment to the Maryland Constitution to require the General Assembly to meet on a day each year and for purposes, as specified, and then to recess for a period; altering the date for the commencement of the annual regular session of the General Assembly; altering the date on which the Governor shall present the annual Budget to the General Assembly after the commencement of the regular session; and submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
