Summary

Altering the circumstances under which a parent may request an independent educational evaluation of a child with a disability at public expense to include a parent who submits a certain request to a local school system and the local school system does not respond within 30 days after the date the request was made or, on approval and under certain circumstances, the educational evaluation meeting does not occur within 60 days after the date the request was received, or 90 days if the State is under a proclaimed state of emergency.
