Summary
Establishing the Correctional Services Apprenticeship Start-Up Grant Program in the Maryland Department of Labor to provide high school students and individuals interested in changing careers opportunities to begin a career within correctional services, to develop a cohort of individuals qualified to work in correctional services, and to encourage correctional facilities to hire interns; establishing requirements for sponsors, employers, and apprentices participating in a correctional services apprenticeship program; etc.
