An Act to include call/volunteer firefighters on the fire service
commission.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 165B of Chapter 6 of the General Laws as appears in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby amended in the first paragraph by striking the word “six” and inserting in place thereof the following words: -- and one of whom shall be selected from a list of two named submitted by the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighter Association who holds the rank of firefighter or fire officer below the rank of Chief.
