An Act relative to the crime of assault and battery on a child.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 13J of chapter 265 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended as follows:- to insert in line 6, after the word “any” and before the word, “injury,” the words “bruising or”, and to insert in line 7, after the word “skin,” the words “, any internal injury due to the presence of illegal substances,”
SECTION 2. Said Section 13J of chapter 265 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended as follows:- to strike the word “five” in line 18 and replace the same with the word “ten”, and to strike the word “fifteen” in line 22, and to replace the same with the word “twenty.”
