Summary

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 118A establishing that candidates for Justice of the Supreme Court and Judge of the Court of Appeals shall be nominated in a partisan primary; establish the manner in which the nomination shall be made; establish that candidates for Justice of the Supreme Court and Judge of the Court of the Appeals shall be elected in a regular election on a nonpartisan ballot; amend KRS 118A.060, 118A.100, 118A.150, 118A.190, and various other statutes to conform.
