Summary

Propose an amendment to Section 170 of the Constitution of Kentucky increasing the amount of the homestead exemption allowed for totally disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces, if the disability is service-connected, to the full assessed fair cash value of the given property; update the dollar limitation as stated in the Constitution to the inflation-adjusted amount actually allowed for tax year 2016 and explicitly provide for continued biennial inflation indexing of this amount; make typographical changes of a nonsubstantive nature for clarification purposes; state ballot question; submit to voters.
