Summary

Propose to amend Section 32 of the Constitution of Kentucky to prevent Senators from serving more than three consecutive terms of office and Representatives from serving more than six consecutive terms of office, whether complete or partial terms, and prevent a legislator from serving more than twelve consecutive years in the General Assembly, regardless of the House in which he or she served, beginning in 2018; allow legislators to resume service after two years have elapsed since leaving office; provide ballot language; submit to voters for ratification or rejection.
