Bill Title: Public safety officer health studies. Establishes the public safety research fund. Provides that $500,000 shall be appropriated from the state general fund and disbursed to the public safety research fund on July 1 of each year. Requires money disbursed to the public safety research fund be used for longitudinal research studies related to the health, safety, and well-being of public safety officers. Requires longitudinal research studies to be performed by the national institute for public safety and health (NIPSH). Requires NIPSH to provide a report of ongoing or performed longitudinal research studies to the executive director of the department of
