    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION honoring the Indiana University Crimson All-Girl Cheerleaders on winning the All-Girl Division 1 2012 UCA College National Championship.

    Whereas, The Indiana University Crimson All-Girl Cheerleaders won the 2012 Division 1 All-Girl National Championship in Orlando, Florida;

    Whereas, The team impressively defeated Morehead State, San Diego State, Minnesota, Florida State, Southern Florida, Western Kentucky, Rutgers, and Temple in the final round;

    Whereas, The team is comprised of 35 members, 25 of whom are from Indiana and 4 are natives of Bloomington;

    Whereas, 5 members of the team were named to the 2012 Team USA All-Girl Squad, which will compete in April for its second-straight world championship medal. These members include Angela Stilwell, Caity Hinshaw, Natalie Skizas, Kirby Lynch and Courtney Bryne; and

    Whereas, Some of the team's other accomplishments include the Collegiate Leadership Award and the Most Collegiate Award at the 2011 UCA Summer Camp: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate     of the General Assembly

of the State of Indiana, the House of Representatives     concurring:

    SECTION 1. The Indiana General Assembly honors the Indiana University Crimson All-Girl Cheerleaders on winning the All-Girl Division 1 2012 UCA College National Championship.
    SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to the coaching staff of the Indiana University Crimson All-Girl Cheerleaders and each member of the team.
