Bill Title: Sheriff reimbursement rate. Provides that the per diem rate paid from the county jail maintenance contingency fund or any other fund after June 30, 2019, and before July 1, 2021, may not be less than $55 per day for persons convicted of felonies, including: (1) persons convicted of a Level 6 felony; and (2) convicted felons who are incarcerated for more than five days after the day of sentencing or the date upon which the department of correction receives the abstract of judgment and sentencing order, whichever occurs later.
