        A RESOLUTION urging the legislative council to assign to the Interim Study Committee on Insurance the topic of mail order and Internet based pharmacies.
    

    Whereas, Prescription drugs are readily accessible from the Internet; and

    Whereas, Finding a safe source for medicines is not: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:


    SECTION 1. That the legislative council is urged to assign to the Interim Study Committee on Insurance for study during the 2012 interim:
        (1) the issue of mail order and Internet based pharmacies and whether any limitations should be placed on the dispensing of a prescription drug by a mail order or Internet based pharmacy; and
        (2) specified health insurance plans and the number of covered people with copayments, coinsurance amounts, and out-of-pocket costs incurred for prescription drugs that exceed specified amounts for the coverage.
