    A RESOLUTION urging the Legislative Council to require the criminal law and sentencing policy study committee to study and make recommendations regarding whether a court should be able to void a land contract and order a contract purchaser to vacate a property being purchased on contract if a contract purchaser has created a drug nuisance on the property.
    

    Whereas, A drug nuisance creates a public nuisance by introducing crime, fear, violence, noise, litter, and health risks into a neighborhood, destroying the neighborhood's peace and general quality of life: Therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the

General Assembly of the State of Indiana:

    SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives urges the

Legislative Council to require the criminal law and sentencing policy study committee to study and make recommendations regarding whether a court should be able to void a land contract and order a contract purchaser to vacate a property being purchased on contract if a contract purchaser has created a drug nuisance on the property.
