A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION recognizing the staff of the
Legislative Services Agency.
Whereas, The executive director, division directors and
deputy directors, staff attorneys, fiscal analysts, editorial
assistants, and administrative staff of the Legislative Services
Agency serve the Indiana General Assembly with
professionalism and dedication, cheerfully accepting and
skillfully completing countless tasks that are both
professionally challenging and demanding;
Whereas, Each person in the Legislative Services Agency
has a particular job to do and does it to the best of that
person's ability;
Whereas, The executive director, division directors, and
deputy directors provide unwavering guidance to their staff
to ensure that the best possible work product is produced;
Whereas, Staff attorneys diligently draft legislation to the
best of their abilities, never failing to protect the interests of
the members of the Indiana General Assembly;
Whereas, Fiscal analysts tirelessly "crunch numbers" to
ensure that Representatives and Senators are fully apprised
of the cost of each piece of legislation;
Whereas, Editorial assistants meticulously edit legislation
and skillfully create printed bills under deadlines;
Whereas, The administrative staff provides the necessary support to ensure that the work product is produced in a timely and efficient manner; and
Whereas, The staff of the Legislative Services Agency is
unfailingly thorough, conscientious, and professional:
Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana General Assembly thanks the staff of
the Legislative Services Agency for its dedication and hard work on
behalf of the Indiana House of Representatives and the Indiana Senate.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
Representatives transmit a copy of this resolution to each member of
the staff of the Legislative Services Agency.
