Bill Title: Driver's licenses and veterans. Provides that the motor vehicle excise tax credit for veterans who do not own property to which certain property tax deductions may be applied is equal to the motor vehicle excise tax liability for the veteran's vehicle. (Current law provides that the credit is equal to the lesser of the amount of the excise tax liability for the vehicle or $70.) Provides that an individual may request an indication of the individual's status as a surviving spouse of a veteran on the individual's driver's license or state identification card.
