Bill Title: Reduction of government plan review. Eliminates duplicative fee based plan reviews for construction of Class 1 structures. Creates a streamlined plan review process that allows either of the following, but not both, to perform a fee based plan review: (1) The division of fire and building safety (division). (2) A political subdivision certified in accordance with objective criteria adopted by the fire protection and building safety commission (commission). Eliminates duplicative fee based plan review performed by the state department of health for construction of hospitals and health facilities.
