Bill Title: Public safety personnel health studies. Establishes the public safety research fund. Provides that $500,000 shall be appropriated from the state general fund and disbursed to the public safety research fund on July 1 of each year. Requires money disbursed to the public safety research fund to be used for research studies designed to understand and improve the physical health, safety, and psychological well-being of public safety personnel. Requires research studies to be performed by the national institute for public safety and health (NIPSH).
