Summary

Lake County solid waste management district. Provides that the county executive of Lake County, in response to a recommendation submitted by the solid waste management district of the county, may adopt a resolution: (1) confirming the authority of the solid waste management district to exercise certain powers concerning final disposal facilities or borrowing in anticipation of taxes as proposed in the recommendation; or (2) denying the solid waste management district the authority to exercise the powers as proposed in the recommendation. Provides that the solid waste management district is authorized to exercise the powers as proposed in a recommendation if:
