Summary

Local government budget notices. Reinstates certain expired and repealed statutes concerning local government budget notices. Reinstates the requirement that a political subdivision must give notice by publication to taxpayers of the estimated budget, the estimated maximum permissible levy, the current and proposed tax levies of each fund, the amount by which the political subdivision's property taxes may be reduced by circuit breaker credits, the amounts of excessive levy appeals to be requested, and the time and place of the public hearing on the budget.
