Summary

Provides that an appointed member of a board of registration may not be the county chairman or a relative of the county chairman who is making the appointment. Provides that the personnel policies, rules, and procedures that apply to a county employee apply to a board of registration members and employees. Provides that a county fiscal body's approval is required for board of registration members and employees to participate in the benefits offered to county employees. Repeals the chapter establishing the Tippecanoe County board of registration and elections, and establishes a board of registration in Monroe and Tippecanoe counties consisting of one member appointed by the county chairman of each of the major political parties of the county and the circuit court clerk, who serves as an ex officio board member.
