Abortion. Establishes the interim study committee on adoption promotion and support. Makes certain findings. Requires a physician to determine whether an unborn human individual has a detectable heartbeat before performing or inducing an abortion, except when in a medical emergency. Requires a pregnant woman to certify in writing certain information if a fetal heartbeat is detected. Requires a physician to document certain information in writing if the physician determined that a medical emergency existed and performed or induced an abortion of an unborn human individual with a detectable heartbeat.
