Summary

Grants state tribe recognition to the Miami Nation of Indiana. Provides that a state tribe does not have the right or authority to: (1) allow negotiations between a state tribe and the state or federal government concerning tribal sovereignty; or (2) allow gaming on tribal land. Provides that a state tribe is not entitled to any special state rights or benefits unless the right or benefit is specifically conferred to the state tribe by statute. Provides that a state tribe has the authority to determine its membership.
