Summary

Interim studies of the criminal justice system. Establishes the criminal justice study committee to conduct a comprehensive study of the criminal justice system in the 2023 and 2024 interims. Establishes a permanent criminal justice reform commission to study sentencing, corrections, services provided to offenders, and other topics affecting the criminal justice system.
