Bill Title: Amends the Public Officer Simultaneous Tenure Act. Provides that it is unlawful for any person to simultaneously hold the office of county board member and township supervisor or township trustee (currently, it is lawful to be a county board member and a township supervisor and, in counties of less than 100,000 population, a county board member and township trustee). Provides that it is unlawful (currently, lawful) for any person to simultaneously hold the office of a county board member and a township assessor or town clerk. Validates lawful actions of individuals who were previously allowed to simultaneously hold specified offices before the effective date of this amendatory Act.
