2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Richard E. Taylor Jr. of Woodstock, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on September 14, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Richard Taylor Jr. was born in Chicago to Richard | ||||||
6 | E. and Wanda (Korytowski) Taylor on November 26, 1945; he | ||||||
7 | served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Richard Taylor Jr. was a member of Redeemer | ||||||
9 | Lutheran Church in Woodstock; he was a member of VFW Post 5040 | ||||||
10 | in Woodstock; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Richard Taylor Jr. enjoyed fishing and was a | ||||||
12 | Chicago Cubs fan; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Richard Taylor Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
14 | parents; his wife, Kathy; and his brother, Robert; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Richard Taylor Jr. is survived by the love of his | ||||||
16 | life, Gloria Peetz; his brother, James (Mary) Taylor; his sons, | ||||||
17 | Richard III, and Robert; his daughters, Shelly, and Sherry; his | ||||||
18 | stepdaughter, Rachel; his grandchildren, Stephen, Stephanie, | ||||||
19 | Melody, Emily, Jennifer, Richard IV, Sarah, Ryan, Jenny, | ||||||
20 | Nicholas, Tristan, Maddi, and Araya; his great-grandchild, |

4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | Richard E. Taylor Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
6 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
