2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Richard "Rick" Bisterfeldt, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on September 22, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt was born on August 28, 1954 in | ||||||
6 | Melrose Park; his parents were Richard Sr. and Ruth | ||||||
7 | Bisterfeldt; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt graduated from West Chicago | ||||||
9 | High School; he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in | ||||||
10 | Industrial Engineering from Illinois State University in 1972; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt was a fire protection | ||||||
13 | engineer for many years; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt was an avid golfer, a | ||||||
15 | motorcycle enthusiast, a Chicago sports loyalist, and a | ||||||
16 | jack-of-all-trades; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Richard Bisterfeldt is survived by his wife, Joan; |

1 | his children, David (Tracy) Bisterfeldt and Dawn (Jason) | ||||||
2 | Brooks; his sisters, Linda Jenkins and Gail (Tom) Kennedy; and | ||||||
3 | his grandchildren, Harper, Deacon, Taylor, MacKenzie, Connor, | ||||||
4 | Kailey, and Kennedy; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard "Rick" | ||||||
8 | Bisterfeldt; and be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Richard Bisterfeldt as an expression | ||||||
11 | of our sympathy.
