SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Penny L. Petitclair of Gurnee, who passed
away on October 23, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Penny Petitclair was born in Waukegan to Richard
and Lorraine (Mathes) Larsen; and
WHEREAS, Penny Petitclair retired from Valent/Abbott after
25 years of employment; and
WHEREAS, Penny Petitclair was a parishioner of the Church
of Saint Patrick in Wadsworth; she was an avid bridge player
and spent 40 years playing with the same group of players; she
was a member of the Bonnie Brook Ladies Golf League and enjoyed
making quilts; and
WHEREAS, Penny Petitclair was preceded in death by her
parents; and
WHEREAS, Penny Petitclair is survived by her husband of 55
years, John; her daughters, Deborah (Ron) Koth and Ann (Kevin)
Grebner; her grandchildren, Ron Koth, Kyle Koth, Caroline
Grebner, and Claire Grebner; her brothers, David (Dian) and
Rick (Judi) Larsen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins;

therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Penny L. Petitclair and extend our sincere condolences to her
family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Penny Petitclair as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
