2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Thomas C. Russell of Elmhurst, formerly | ||||||
4 | of Joliet, who passed away at the age of 84; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Thomas Russell graduated from Joliet Catholic | ||||||
6 | High School in 1952; he graduated from the University of Notre | ||||||
7 | Dame in 1956; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was a veteran of the United States | ||||||
9 | Air Force; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was a member of the Knights of | ||||||
11 | Columbus, Fr. McDonald Council; he was a lifelong fan of the | ||||||
12 | Chicago White Sox; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Thomas Russell was the beloved husband of Grace R. | ||||||
14 | (McGowan) Russell, the loving father of Margaret L. Odell, | ||||||
15 | Thomas M. (Deborah) Russell, Katherine T. (Mark) Chapman, and | ||||||
16 | Matthew J. Russell, the proud grandfather of Riley and Mitchell | ||||||
17 | Russell and Allison Odell, and the fond uncle of many nieces | ||||||
18 | and nephews; therefore, be it

19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
