| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of George W. Houston of Hebron, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on July 23, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, George Houston was born on February 7, 1932 in | ||||||
| 6 | Travis County, Texas; his parents were Ananias and Viola | ||||||
| 7 | Houston; he married Mary Susan Schmitt on January 26, 1979 in | ||||||
| 8 | Las Vegas, Nevada; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, George Houston was an active and valued member of | ||||||
| 10 | St. John's Lutheran Church in Hebron; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, George Houston was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 12 | daughter, Renee; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, George Houston is survived by his wife, Mary | ||||||
| 14 | Susan; his daughters, Denise, Leslie, Lauren, and Lonnie; his | ||||||
| 15 | grandchildren, William, Garrett, Precious, Jessica, Marty, | ||||||
| 16 | Johnathan, Tony, Jackson, and Jordan; and four | ||||||
| 17 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 20 | family and friends, mourn the passing of George W. Houston; and | ||||||
