2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Marilyn S. Gumprecht-Grever, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on June 19, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever was born on July 3, 1934 | ||||||
6 | in Belvidere; her parents were Herman and Elsie Kunde; she | ||||||
7 | married Richard W. Gumprecht, Sr. on May 23, 1953 in Pacific | ||||||
8 | Grove, California; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever retired from Aubrey | ||||||
10 | Manufacturing after 30-plus years of employment; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever enjoyed gardening, | ||||||
12 | playing pinochle, camping, traveling, bowling, golf, and | ||||||
13 | spending time with her family; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever was preceded in death by | ||||||
15 | her parents; her first husband, Richard, Sr.; her second | ||||||
16 | husband, Earl Grever; her daughter, Diana Stock; her | ||||||
17 | son-in-law, Kurt Stock; and seven brothers and sisters; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever is survived by her son | ||||||
19 | and daughter-in-law, Richard (Janice) Gumprecht, Jr.; her | ||||||
20 | grandchildren, Eric and Brian Gumprecht and Aimee and James |

1 | (Melisa Suda) Creighton; her great-grandchildren, Tyler and | ||||||
2 | Jaedyn Maule; her lifelong friend, Marilyn Swanson; and many | ||||||
3 | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
6 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilyn S. | ||||||
7 | Gumprecht-Grever; and be it further
| ||||||
8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
9 | presented to the family of Marilyn Gumprecht-Grever as an | ||||||
10 | expression of our sympathy.
