2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Reuben Carl Anderson of Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on August 9, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Reuben Anderson was born in Moline to Ella | ||||||
6 | (Kluever) and Reuben C. Anderson Sr. on April 26, 1933; he was | ||||||
7 | a veteran of the United States Army; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Reuben Anderson worked as a mechanic at Olson's | ||||||
9 | Auto & Brake Service and retired in 1998 after 25 years of | ||||||
10 | service; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Reuben Anderson was a member of the Viking Club of | ||||||
12 | Moline and loved the time he spent with the local American | ||||||
13 | Legion Posts; he enjoyed working on old cars and cruising | ||||||
14 | around town in his 1956 Pontiac; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Reuben Anderson was preceded in death by his | ||||||
16 | parents and his sisters, Lorena and Marge; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Reuben Anderson is survived by his children, Randy | ||||||
18 | (Renae) Anderson, Teri (David) Lorenz, Kori Hailey, and Kandi | ||||||
19 | Stotlar; his seven grandchildren; and his six | ||||||
20 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Reuben Carl Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further
