| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Charlotte Marie Meyers of Alton, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on May 29, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Charlotte Meyers was born in Alton to William A. | ||||||
| 6 | and Stella (Haywood) Vohs on December 28, 1922; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Charlotte Meyers worked at Olin Corp. as an | ||||||
| 8 | inspector for 45 years, retiring in 1986; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Charlotte Meyers was a member of the 12th Street | ||||||
| 10 | Presbyterian Church in Alton; she enjoyed playing bingo and | ||||||
| 11 | spending time with her children and great-grandchildren; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Charlotte Meyers was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 13 | parents and her brother, William "Bill" Vohs; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Charlotte Meyers is survived by her children, | ||||||
| 15 | Albert (Debbie) Meyers, Estelle Vinyard, Marilyn Brumley, and | ||||||
| 16 | Thomas Meyers; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; | ||||||
| 17 | therefore, be it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||

| 2 | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
