2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Henry Penning Beiser of Alton, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on April 8, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was born in Alton to David and | ||||||
6 | Margaret (Penning) Beiser on August 20, 1931; he graduated from | ||||||
7 | St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa in 1953; he then served | ||||||
8 | in the United States Army; he married Suzanne Chappel in Alton | ||||||
9 | on May 18, 1957; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Henry Beiser retired from the Granite School | ||||||
11 | District as a counselor and teacher after 32 years of service; | ||||||
12 | and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was a member of St. Mary's Catholic | ||||||
14 | Church in Alton and the Alton Knights of Columbus; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Henry Beiser was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
16 | and his brothers, David and Joseph Beiser; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Henry Beiser is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his | ||||||
18 | sons, Mark Beiser, Christopher (Mary) Beiser, and Steven | ||||||
19 | Beiser; his grandchildren, Benjamin Beiser, Nicholas Beiser, | ||||||
20 | Andrew Beiser, Ashley (Zachary) Righter, Elizabeth Beiser, |

1 | Megan Beiser, and Brian Beiser; and his great-grandchild, | ||||||
2 | Willow Beiser; therefore, be it

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | Henry Penning Beiser and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
7 | further

8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
