2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Vivian Anna Reinboldt Smith of McHenry, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on January 10, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Vivian Anna Reinboldt Smith was born in Odeboldt, | ||||||
6 | Iowa to John and Anna Lunkenheimer Reinboldt on March 9, 1922; | ||||||
7 | she married Walter M. Smith at St. John the Baptist Church in | ||||||
8 | Johnsburg on September 28, 1940; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Vivian Anna Reinboldt Smith was a member of St. | ||||||
10 | John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg, where she was the first | ||||||
11 | woman usher; she was a past member of Women of the Moose; she | ||||||
12 | enjoyed reading, crafts, sewing, painting, cards, board games, | ||||||
13 | gardening, golf, and bowling; she was an avid fan of the | ||||||
14 | Chicago Cubs, Johnsburg Tigers, and Collier Classics; and

15 | WHEREAS, Vivian Anna Reinboldt Smith was preceded in death | ||||||
16 | by her husband, Walter; her brothers, Howard, Vernon, and | ||||||
17 | Melvin Reinboldt; her sisters, Vera Huemann, Luella Huemann, | ||||||
18 | and Lorraine Smith; her son-in-law, Philip Schmidt; her | ||||||
19 | sister-in-law, Charlotte Reinboldt; and her brothers-in-law, | ||||||
20 | Joseph Huemann, Fred Huemann, Norbert Smith, and Donald Miller; | ||||||

4 | (Lindsay), and Jonathan (Emily) Smith, Kevin (Sheila) Schmidt, | ||||||
5 | and Kimberly Sweet; her great-grandchildren, Addison, Abigail, | ||||||
6 | Natalie, Amelia, Cameron, and Kinley Smith and Mark, Melanie, | ||||||
7 | and Brooklyn Sweet; her sister, JoAnn Miller; and her | ||||||
