2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Joseph S. Farrell of Chicago; and
| ||||||
4 | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell graduated from St. Viator High | ||||||
5 | School in 1988; he subsequently earned his degree in accounting | ||||||
6 | from Marquette University in 1992 and his J.D. from the John | ||||||
7 | Marshall Law School in 1995; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell practiced law in Chicago for the | ||||||
9 | past 19 years, working at Weiss & Block Chartered, Levenfeld | ||||||
10 | Pearlstein, LLC, and Access Group; he was well-known among his | ||||||
11 | peers as a well-respected transactional attorney; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell was the beloved husband of Kristen | ||||||
13 | (nee Benedict); the adoring father of Caroline, Katlin, and | ||||||
14 | Lauren; the dear son of Barbara and the late Neal Farrell; the | ||||||
15 | cherished brother of Anne (John) McKay, Susan Farrell, Karen | ||||||
16 | (Dave) Regan, and Kathleen (TJ) Perreault; and the fond uncle | ||||||
17 | of 3 nieces and 11 nephews; therefore, be it

18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
20 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph S. Farrell; and | ||||||
21 | be it further
