SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph S. Farrell of Chicago; and
4 WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell graduated from St. Viator High
5School in 1988; he subsequently earned his degree in accounting
6from Marquette University in 1992 and his J.D. from the John
7Marshall Law School in 1995; and
8 WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell practiced law in Chicago for the
9past 19 years, working at Weiss & Block Chartered, Levenfeld
10Pearlstein, LLC, and Access Group; he was well-known among his
11peers as a well-respected transactional attorney; and
12 WHEREAS, Joseph Farrell was the beloved husband of Kristen
13(nee Benedict); the adoring father of Caroline, Katlin, and
14Lauren; the dear son of Barbara and the late Neal Farrell; the
15cherished brother of Anne (John) McKay, Susan Farrell, Karen
16(Dave) Regan, and Kathleen (TJ) Perreault; and the fond uncle
17of 3 nieces and 11 nephews; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
20family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph S. Farrell; and
21be it further
