| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Richard B. "Dick" Wenzel of Crystal Lake, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on July 8, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel was born on August 1, 1931, in | ||||||
| 6 | Marietta, Ohio; his parents were Roy and Anna Wenzel; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel grew up in Marietta, Ohio, where he | ||||||
| 8 | was an outstanding athlete and graduated from Marietta College | ||||||
| 9 | with a degree in geology; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, After serving his country for 4 years in the | ||||||
| 11 | United States Air Force, Richard Wenzel worked in sales for | ||||||
| 12 | Motorola for 27 years; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Richard Wenzel is survived by his loving wife of | ||||||
| 14 | 59 years, Nancy; 4 children, Susan (Robert) Liva, Richard, Jr. | ||||||
| 15 | (Nancy), Clifford, and Britt (Jerri); 9 grandchildren, Robert | ||||||
| 16 | and Louis Liva, Ted and Abbey Wenzel, Taylor Wenzel, and Jason, | ||||||
| 17 | Kyle, Nicholas, and Anna Wenzel; a sister, Sophie Morris; and | ||||||
| 18 | many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||

| 1 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Richard B. "Dick" | ||||||
