2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Joseph "Joe" James Vorisek, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on July 25, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was born on June 1, 1951 in Osaka, | ||||||
6 | Japan; his parents were Katherine "Kay" Wynn and Robert B. | ||||||
7 | Vorisek; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek graduated from Crystal Lake High | ||||||
9 | School in 1972; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was employed by Oak Industry and | ||||||
11 | Crystal Lake Community School District for many years; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was an avid fan of the Marian | ||||||
13 | Central Hurricanes and Crystal Lake Tigers; he also enjoyed | ||||||
14 | musical and drama performances, running, and cycling; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was a Lay Franciscan at St. Thomas | ||||||
16 | Church; he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | mother; and

1 | WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek is survived by his father, Robert; | ||||||
2 | 2 sisters, Mary Ann Vorisek (Bill) Dilla and Katherine "Kitty" | ||||||
3 | Vorisek (Donald Einbecker); a brother, Robert F. (Kathryn) | ||||||
4 | Vorisek; and 8 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph "Joe" James | ||||||
8 | Vorisek; and be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Joseph Vorisek as an expression of | ||||||
11 | our sympathy.
