SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph "Joe" James Vorisek, who passed
4away on July 25, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was born on June 1, 1951 in Osaka,
6Japan; his parents were Katherine "Kay" Wynn and Robert B.
7Vorisek; and
8 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek graduated from Crystal Lake High
9School in 1972; and
10 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was employed by Oak Industry and
11Crystal Lake Community School District for many years; and
12 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was an avid fan of the Marian
13Central Hurricanes and Crystal Lake Tigers; he also enjoyed
14musical and drama performances, running, and cycling; and
15 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was a Lay Franciscan at St. Thomas
16Church; he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; and
17 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek was preceded in death by his
18mother; and

1 WHEREAS, Joseph Vorisek is survived by his father, Robert;
22 sisters, Mary Ann Vorisek (Bill) Dilla and Katherine "Kitty"
3Vorisek (Donald Einbecker); a brother, Robert F. (Kathryn)
4Vorisek; and 8 nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
5 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph "Joe" James
8Vorisek; and be it further
9 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Joseph Vorisek as an expression of
11our sympathy.
