2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of William Freund of McHenry, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on July 5, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, William Freund was born on November 20, 1941; his | ||||||
6 | parents were Walter and Ann (nee Meyers) Freund; he married | ||||||
7 | Kathleen "Katie" Goulding on August 4, 1973 at St. John's in | ||||||
8 | Johnsburg; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, After working hard for over 45 years, William | ||||||
10 | Freund was able to relax and enjoy his two great loves, his | ||||||
11 | family and the Green Bay Packers; he also enjoyed watching Cubs | ||||||
12 | games and visiting national parks in the West; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, William Freund was preceded in death by his | ||||||
14 | parents and his father-in-law, Geoffrey Goulding; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, William Freund is survived by his wife, Katie; his | ||||||
16 | children, Dan (Jennifer) Freund, Matt (Tammera) Freund, Mandy | ||||||
17 | Freund, and Justin (Genevieve) Freund; 6 grandchildren, | ||||||
18 | Justin, Oliver, Ashley, Abby, Reese, and Merrick; 2 brothers, | ||||||
19 | Ron (Joanne) Freund and Jerry (Ann) Freund; 2 sisters, Judi | ||||||
20 | (Wade) Clement and Debbie (Rick) Strom; and his mother-in-law, | ||||||
21 | Betty Goulding; therefore, be it

1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of William Freund; and be | ||||||
4 | it further
| ||||||
5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
6 | presented to the family of William Freund as an expression of | ||||||
7 | our sympathy.
