2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Paul A. Ducatte of Englewood, Florida, | ||||||
4 | formerly of Bloomington, who passed away on June 19, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was born in Plattsburgh, New York to | ||||||
6 | Leona Goslow Ducatte on April 1, 1937; he served in the U.S. | ||||||
7 | Air Force from 1954 to 1958; he married Beverly Harms in | ||||||
8 | Illinois on December 15, 1957; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte worked at a printing company in | ||||||
10 | addition to a CB radio and gun sales shop in Bloomington until | ||||||
11 | 1979; he moved to Englewood, Florida, where he was the owner | ||||||
12 | and operator of Pelican Marine Construction Corporation from | ||||||
13 | 1981 to 2003; and

14 | WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was a member of the Loyal Order of | ||||||
15 | Moose Lodge 2554, V.F.W. Post 10178, the American Legion Post | ||||||
16 | 0103, and Amvets Post 0777; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte was preceded in death by his mother, | ||||||
18 | Leona Ratta, and his brother, Ken; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Paul Ducatte is survived by his wife of 62 years, | ||||||
20 | Beverly; his daughter, Debbie Ducatte; his sisters, Pat Ives |

1 | and Janice Foster; and his brother, Frank Ducatte; therefore, | ||||||
2 | be it

3 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
4 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
5 | Paul A. Ducatte and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
6 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
7 | further
| ||||||
8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
9 | presented to the family of Paul Ducatte as an expression of our | ||||||
10 | deepest sympathy.
