2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Harvey A. Hollmann of Jacob, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on January 27, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was born in Jacob to Arthur and | ||||||
6 | Suzanne (Grode) Hollmann on July 28, 1932; he married Alice | ||||||
7 | Moeller on June 15, 1956; he served during the Korean War from | ||||||
8 | 1954 to 1956; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann farmed with his father, milking | ||||||
10 | cows, raising pigs and chickens, running lights on the river, | ||||||
11 | and trucking; he remained a farmer all of his life, working on | ||||||
12 | the family farm; he also assisted Miesner Grain and | ||||||
13 | Gilster-Mary Lee; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was baptized and confirmed at | ||||||
15 | Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob, where he served in many | ||||||
16 | capacities; he was also a member of the Chester VFW Post #3553; | ||||||
17 | and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann was preceded in death by his | ||||||
19 | parents; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Harvey A. Hollmann is survived by his wife, Alice |

1 | Hollmann; his son, Bryan (Vickie) Hollmann; his daughter, Peggy | ||||||
2 | (Kevin) Bunselmeyer; his grandchildren, David (Haley) | ||||||
3 | Hollmann, Eric (April) Hollmann, Klayton Bunselmeyer, and | ||||||
4 | Kourtney Bunselmeyer; his great-grandchildren, Keegan, | ||||||
5 | Brayden, Garrett, and Graham Hollmann; his sister, Marilyn | ||||||
6 | Imhoff; and his loving dog, Sassy; therefore, be it
| ||||||
7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
9 | Harvey A. Hollmann and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
10 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
11 | further

12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
13 | presented to the family of Harvey Hollmann as an expression of | ||||||
14 | our deepest sympathy.
