2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of M.H. "Monty" Pollner of New Boston, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 17, 2024; and

5 | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was born to Elizabeth M. (Lang) and | ||||||
6 | Carl L. Pollner in Chicago on January 8, 1928; he served in the | ||||||
7 | U.S. Navy during World War II; he married Nelda E. Gooding in | ||||||
8 | Hampton on July 13, 1952; and

9 | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner worked as a commercial artist in | ||||||
10 | his younger years, and he retired as a printing salesman for | ||||||
11 | Desaulniers and Co.; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner loved woodworking and fishing; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was preceded in death by his | ||||||
14 | parents; his wife, Nelda; his son, Tracy; and his brother, | ||||||
15 | Henry "Hank" Pollner; and

16 | WHEREAS, Monty Pollner is survived by his son, Randy | ||||||
17 | (Janet) Pollner; his daughter, Heather (Gary) Reardon; his | ||||||
18 | daughter-in-law, Paula Pollner; his grandchildren, Jacob, | ||||||
19 | Jennifer, Spencer, Quinn, and Emily; eight | ||||||
20 | great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and his |
