2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dorothy Ann (Philipps) Nagel, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on September 26, 2019; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel was born in Oak Park on December 11, | ||||||
6 | 1950; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel attended Longfellow Grade
School | ||||||
8 | and graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1969; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Dorothy Nagel is survived by her husband of 48 | ||||||
11 | years, David; her son, James (Beth) Nagel; her grandchildren, | ||||||
12 | Olivia and Joe Nagel; her brother, Joseph
(Barbara T.) | ||||||
13 | Philipps; her sister, Barbara J. Philipps; and numerous nieces | ||||||
14 | and nephews; therefore, be it

15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||
16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
17 | Dorothy Ann Nagel and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
18 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
